Keep it by the keyboard!  |
When I saw that a relative had given me this pocket book and the obligatory bubble bath for Christmas I was less than amused at their generosity. "What do I need this for," I asked, "Ive got search engines!"Well, hands up, I judged too early - this little book is a must have for shopaholics with access to the internet. It reviews UK sites that I would almost certainly never have found via the best search engine. The descriptions of the site are concise and accurate and the whole thing is very easy to read for surfers with a poor attention span. (So thats all of us right?!) ...my only remaining gripe is that its too cheap for a Christmas present! Still, looking on the bright side - I can use the book to do a little cut price shopping of my own...

This is an irritating book. There is one clear message: you NEED to employ an Independent Financial Advisor. The author helpfully lists two... time and time again. One happens to be his brother. For any reader who has read even one mortgage/house buying magazine his golden rules are likely to appear pretty obvious. There is little detail beyond that which you would find in a good magazine. I would recommend the magazine route... at least the information will remain up-to-date.

This is a very good book I found it highly informative and well written. The remortgaging chapter was very good I feel confident that I should be able to save thousands of pounds on the cost of my own mortgage with the advice in this chapter alone. The chapter on buying property at auction was fascinating I never knew you could buy property so cheap.
